About

Nancy Funkhouser

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, I provide online counseling for teens and adults. I offer a nurturing, safe space where you can explore what is troubling or challenging to you in the present and help you tap into your best way to make things better.

I am deeply empathetic, compassionate, and enthusiastic about my work and my desire to help others is rooted in my own experience in which I have been challenged outside my comfort zone to grow as a person. I work best with people who also bring an open mind, a curiosity to explore and identify what they wish to change, and a healthy desire for things to be different in their life. I am authentic, supportive, and humble, and I am an active participant in the therapeutic process. I seek to join you on your journey and support you to recognize the ways in which you can find your own capacity for change to achieve your goals.
